Myles Turner is reconsidering SMU in light of Emmanuel Mudiay's commitment to the school.

Turner, a top-10 prospect in the 2014 class, is also considering Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Texas.

Turnery and Mudiay have been rumored to be a package deal.

Houston picked a verbal commitment from JaQuel Richmond.

Richmond, generally considered a three-star prospect, played point guard for Wesleyan Christian Academy last season.

Richmond had offers from Georgetown, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest.

Emmanuel Mudiay will announce his college decision on Saturday.

Mudiay, the nation’s top-ranked point guard, is expected to choose SMU over Kentucky, Baylor and Oklahoma State.

"This thing kind of has an SMU vibe to it," Scout analyst Evan Daniels said.

Mudiay lives within an hour's drive of the SMU campus and has already visited several times.

"He's been on SMU's campus at least five or six times," Daniels said. "He's from that area. He's very close to his mother and his brother. I think SMU probably has the edge here."
